Soo Foundry is a full-service repair facility and has the experience to take on the most complex gearboxes. Our technicians carefully dismantle and check the components visually with the assistance of non-destructive methods. We verify all components dimensionally and have the capability of reworking bearing fits as well as gearbox bores on our 15-ton capacity CNC boring mill. We can also provide a detailed report at the end of the rebuild if required. This report includes laser alignment of the couplings and a vibration baseline to assist our customers into a predictive maintenance plan rather than a reactive one.
