Filter housings used in mining come in with wear on the top sealing surface. SFM designed a replacement insert that is retro-fitted into the existing housing, allowing the housing to easily be repaired and reused rather than replaced. Using CNC milling machines, SFM manufactures the replacement seal surfaces and machines the existing component to accept the inserts if needed. The housings are assembled and ready to be put back in service.
