We can provide mechanical and shop support on major vertical hydro electric rebuilds, as we did at Gartshore Generating Station located on the Montreal River. We worked alongside the station mechanics from the start of the project to the commissioning of the unit. This project included a runner replacement, which allowed our facility to inspect and refurbish some of the major components such as the upper and lower bracket, air admission system and the oil head. SFM has the ability to manage the delivery of major components as well as provide comprehensive quality control documents.
